Kinetic energy from keyboards
According to my keyboard’s character count, i’ve pressed 5 million buttons in the past year alone. I know clicking on one button isn’t going to power anything… but 5m buttons? That’s a lot of kinetic energy going to waste and i’d imagine if each key was hooked up to some sort of generator within the keyboard, the energy produced would be enough to power the keyboard itself – without needing an external power source or batteries.
